This privacy notice is prepared to inform natural persons and legal entities who receive services from İstanbul Soft Bilişim ve Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti. (referred to as İSTANBUL SOFT or SOFTOMİ) and/or who visit our website at https://www.softomi.com.

As the data controller, SOFTOMİ is responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing personal data and for establishing and managing the data recording system.

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. In accordance with the Turkish Law on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”, Law No. 6698), we wish to inform you about the processing of data obtained in connection with your use of the Softomi website — including but not limited to collection, storage, and transfer — and the purposes of such processing.

Processing and Transfer of Personal Data

When customers using the SOFTOMİ website request a demo and/or complete the contact form, SOFTOMİ may request certain personal data such as name and surname, email address, phone number, and the address of the user’s own website. SOFTOMİ uses this personal data to contact the person who submitted the form, including by phone, email, WhatsApp, or SMS. In addition, SOFTOMİ may collect data from visitors to the website within the scope described in our cookie policy.

SOFTOMİ may advertise to users via search engines and social platforms such as Google, Yandex, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. If SOFTOMİ uses hosting, email, or other services from providers outside Turkey, your personal data may be stored on servers located abroad.

Web Server Log Data

When you access the SOFTOMİ website, your browser is technically configured to automatically send the following information (“log data”) to our web server; we then record the following in our server logs even without your separate consent:

The SOFTOMİ website may contain links to other sites, partners, or organisations for information purposes, including within blog posts. We have no control over whether the operators of those sites comply with data protection rules. SOFTOMİ is not responsible for the content of linked sites (or sites linked from them) and has no authority to modify the content of linked sites.

Access by SOFTOMİ Staff

Softomi staff do not access customer accounts unless necessary — for example, when handling a support request, fixing a system issue, or updating the site.

Your data is backed up on a daily basis to guard against technical failures.

Response to Security Incidents

Softomi takes reasonable measures to protect your site and the data it holds. However, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed absolutely secure. If SOFTOMİ becomes aware of a security breach, it will promptly contact affected users and inform them as appropriate, and will take steps to address the vulnerability.

Your Responsibilities

To keep your data secure, you should use strong admin panel passwords, including upper- and lower-case letters, numbers, and symbols. You should also set a strong password for your email account.
